Wedding party – a new format of celebration

2020 has brought a lot of new things to the world of weddings. This includes express preparation of the celebration in 2 weeks and chamber celebrations in private country cottages (here you can see how it looks) and the most interesting thing is the new format а «wedding without MC». Today our wedding agency will tell you how cool and fun it can be on the example of Olya and Sasha’s wedding.

Olya and Sasha had 6 matches out of 6 on this list. They did not want a classical ceremony with a flower arch, they were ready to abandon the MC in favor of various master classes and non-stop dancing, and they also really wanted to spend as much time as possible just chatting with their friends.

Wedding ceremony

Olya and Sasha’s wedding ceremony was held by their best friend, remembering all the coolest moments of their love story and telling the guests about them. Instead of the classic flower arch, our decorators installed a pop art banner with portraits of the bride and groom. Rose petals, confetti and a pyramid of champagne glasses seemed too outdated for this wedding. After the young couple made vows to each other, Sasha opened a huge magnum of champagne and poured it to each of the guests. A cool sign of hospitality from the newly-made head of the family.

Entertainment for guests

There was no host at the wedding of Olya and Sasha, but this did not make the celebration any boring. On the contrary, the wedding party was as fun as possible. Do you want to know how we achieved that? Here it is:

MC-DJ, a new modern profession that united a DJ and a MC together, commented on all the important moments of the celebration.
In the Shine Beauty bar, each guest could make himself a flash tattoo or an original makeup with sparkles and reflective highlighters
During the wedding, guests painted eco-shoppers that they used to took home gifts from the bride and groom
Popular DJs set the dance floor on fire for 2 hours after the groom warmed up the guests with his DJ mix
Several packs of aromatic palo santo were burned during the evening to fill the space with a special aroma and create an atmosphere of a music festival
A board with polaroid photos instead of a wish album. The guests took instant photos, wrote short wishes and attached them with a clothespin to a rope.

When Food becomes Entertainment

At a wedding party, it is unlikely that you will surprise your guests with a classic banquet and seating at the tables. Olya and Sasha preferred to organize a buffet, and our wedding agency came up with a variety of animated gastro stations so that it could be not only delicious for the guests but also fun:

Station with jamon – the thinnest pieces of jerky were cut right in front of the guests
Burgers on an open fire – this BBQ station is located on the veranda
Wok station – and here guests were treated to Vietnamese noodles in craft boxes. Fillers could be chosen by yourself
Cocktail bar – an essential part! Throughout the wedding, the bartenders prepared delicious cocktails and entertained the guests with flairing.
Salads in mini-jars — those are takeaway foods, you can take them with you and go chat with your friends
